Thanks to the Debian team now is easy to install on PowerPC machine ( tested on G5 and G4) Debian 13 Sid Forky , you can download it fromdebian cdimage ports

- On PowerMacs, hold the "c" key, or else the combination of Command, Option, Shift, and Delete keys together while booting to boot from the factory default CD/DVD drive. Other option is to enter Open Firmware by pressing CMD+ALT+O+F at chimes sound and type at prompt : 0 > boot cd:,\boot\grub\powerpc.elf
To boot from USB ( only max USB 2 keys) usb1/@1:3,\grub.elf or boot usb0/@1:3,\grub.elf
- select "default install" to install a PPC64 debian system
- if CDROM device is not detected select No at prompt to load additional drivers and Yes to manually modifiy the cdrom device path select cdrom and set /dev/sda (for g5 primary ide cdrom drive)
- using the guided partitioning tool and select a default partitioning scheme - for grub be sure to reserve enough space for boot partition /boot/grub (i.e 1 GB)
- boot partition must be used as : boot partition HFS - boot flag : enabled and mount point /boot/grub
- when asked to select a repository I have used manuale and confirmed the parameters: "deb.debian.org" in the first requester, and then "/debian-ports/"
- select packages to install and continue ( I have slected XFCE )
